Best Size?

Best sized V8..?

308, 304, GEN III (LS1), LS2 Or any others

Mine would have to be the 5Ltr 304 you can't get the tuffness sound out of any other type of V8.

Yeah screw the gen 3. Before they brought that in, the 8's sounded awesome. Now they are too quiet.

Got to agree with the 304 for pure toughness.

I reckon a 572cu in Big block chev would be cool. Even though they're $20k for a long motor. Link:http://www.eagleautoparts.com.au/12498826.htm

I can't wait for the LS9 to come out though. 6.2l supercharged V8. Mmmmmm

As far as the sound goes i would have to agree as the 308-304 is the best sounding by far, but bang for ya buck ya cant go past the ls1-ls2 they respond so well from even the smallist of mods. just look what an edit does to one of these without even talking cams.
